Lebanon hours

There are none. Not on your website and not on the Lebanon Google listing. Send them and they go straight in, same shape as the Albany table.

Note for Akida, not page copy

This block is the one real decision on the page, so it is worth a minute. You have one name and two shops in two different towns. Somebody who searches your name gets one result and then has to work out which of your two rooms they are looking at, how far it is, and whether it is open. Right now that takes a few clicks and some guessing.

So the towns come first, before anything else. Two boxes, each with its own street, its own phone and its own hours. Nothing is written once and left to cover both, because almost nothing actually does. Your services and your barbers are further down, where sharing them across both shops is honest.

And the gap you can see in that block is real, not a placeholder I forgot to fill. Your Lebanon shop has no hours anywhere. Not on your site, and not on its Google listing. Albany has a full week on Google and nothing on your site. A barber shop with no published hours is the one thing a person checks before they get in the car.

What we do

Your list, in your words, pulled straight off your own site.

Your site finishes that list with “+ more”. That is doing a lot of work for two characters. Tell me what else is on the board and it goes in as real lines like the six above.

Prices

You do not publish any and I did not invent any. If you want them here, send the board and they drop in without rebuilding anything.

Who is behind the chair

Every name below is published on your own team pages. Nobody has been added and nobody has been left out.

North Albany

Nine barbers, from your team page

  • Akida
  • Carlos
  • JoJo
  • Malaki
  • Garrett
  • Eddy
  • Madison
  • Jacob
  • Johnny

Lebanon

Five barbers, from your second team page

  • Akida
  • Garrett
  • Madison
  • JoJo
  • Johnny

A line each, and a face each

Names on their own do not help somebody pick. One sentence per barber, what they are best at, plus a photo, is the single biggest upgrade available to this page.

Now the part I would want to know if it were my shop. I tried to book an appointment the way a customer would, starting from your homepage, and here is the actual route: the Make Appointment button goes to your locations page. That page has two more Make Appointment buttons, one per town. Those go to your team pages. Then you pick a barber, and where you land depends entirely on which one you picked.

Six of your nine Albany barbers book through your own system. The other three do not. Two of them go out to separate personal booking pages, and one goes to a scheduling page under a completely different business name. Your Lebanon shop runs on a second, separate account from the Albany one, and on that page JoJo has no booking link at all.

None of that is wrong exactly, and I am not telling you to change how your barbers work. Plenty of shops let barbers keep their own books. But right now the only way a customer finds any of it is three clicks deep, and your Google listing has no appointment link on it whatsoever, so nobody arriving from a search ever sees a booking option at all. Tell me the one route you want people on and this page sends them there in one tap.

The work

Six frames, all empty on purpose. The note underneath says exactly why, and it is not because there are no photos.

01A fade, finished, shot close
02A beard trim or a hot towel shave, mid-work
03A scissor cut, visibly different from the fade
04The Albany room, from standing height
05The Lebanon room, from standing height
06A shop front from the sidewalk, either town

You have pictures on your site already and I did not use a single one. Here is the honest reason: you published them, which is not the same as you owning them. If somebody shot those for you, that license is yours and it does not come with me. It is a two-second question and I would rather ask it than find out later. Say they are yours and most of these frames fill from files you already have.

There is a second thing and it is bigger. Your trade sells taste. Somebody picking a barber wants to see a fade you actually cut, not read that you do fades. Right now there is not one photograph of your work on your own website. The pictures on there are your logo and two town welcome signs.

Anything with a customer's face in it needs that customer's yes before it goes live, and that is not me being careful for the sake of it. The back of a fresh fade is usually the better photograph anyway, and it asks nobody for permission.

What people say

5.0 across 433

North Albany, on Google. Read July 31. This number moves, so it gets re-checked before anything goes live.

5.0 across 96

Lebanon, on Google. Read July 31. Two separate listings, two separate scores.

After having my hair cut by Akida I will never go to another barber. Not only is he skilled and professional, but his positive energy is contagious! I love the fact I can book an appointment online too.”
Not only did he give me a fantastic haircut, but he also took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The atmosphere in the shop is welcoming and the service is top-notch.”
Every visit is fun, comfortable and always ends with a very stylish cut n beard trim. Got a nice event? Or just need a nice weekly cut to keep you looking fresh? He's absolutely your man.”

These three are yours already. They are sitting on your own website right now and I moved them up where somebody will actually read them. I trimmed two for length and took the one name off. Nothing was reworded and nothing was invented.

Two things about the numbers above. They came off your Google listings on the 31st and I have dated them on the page, because a review count that says one thing while Google says another looks worse than no number at all. And they are two separate listings with two separate scores, which is correct and worth knowing: your Lebanon shop is building its own reputation from scratch and it is at ninety six.

What I could not get to, so you know the edges of what I am telling you. I could not read your actual reviews on Google, how recent they are, or whether you reply to them. So nothing on this page and nothing I say to you is a claim about any of that. If you already answer every review, good, and I will stop talking about it the moment you tell me.

Come in

Your own site says it best and then gets cut off halfway through the sentence. Here it is finished.

Walk-ins welcome. Appointments recommended.

Confirm this one line

Your site currently reads “We Take Walk-ins. Appointments are R” and stops there. I finished it the way it looked like it was going. If that is wrong, tell me and I will fix it in a minute.

Note for Akida, not page copy

Three small things on your current site, and all three take minutes.

One. The sentence above stops mid-word. It reads “Appointments are R” on your live homepage right now. Two. The footer says 2024. It is a small thing and it is the kind of small thing that makes a stranger wonder if you are still open. Three. Your Lebanon team page is a duplicate of the Albany one that never got renamed, so its address bar says copy-of-the-team and its page title still says Albany.

And one I am flagging carefully because you cannot see it and neither can your customers. Two of the section labels in your site's code are still the ones the builder generated, Home: Text and Home: Reviews. They are hidden, so nobody browsing your site will ever see them. They are what a screen reader reads out to a blind visitor as the name of that part of the page, and they are in the code anybody can view. Not an emergency. Worth two minutes.
